Beginning September 2025, all Springfield Public Schools (SPS) students must have their electronic devices off and away from bell to bell, including during passing periods and lunch.

At its February 9, 2026 meeting, the Springfield Public Schools Board of Directors approved a successor agreement between Springfield Public Schools (SPS) and the Springfield Education Association (SEA).
