About Riverbend Elementary

Riverbend Elementary School is one of 12 elementary schools within the Springfield Public Schools district.

The Riverbend community is committed to providing a nurturing environment that encourages everyone to explore, learn, and succeed. We want our students walking away each day looking forward to the next, bringing with them the desire to engage in their classrooms and with their peers.

We believe that through meaningful relationships between students, staff, and families every student will feel empowered to take risks and grow. With a growth mindset, anything is possible.

School Hours

Regular School Hours (All K-5 Students)
School begins each day at 8:35 a.m. (doors open at 8 a.m. for breakfast) and dismissal is at 2:50 p.m.

Early Release School Hours (All K-5 Students)
School begins each day at 8:35 a.m. (doors open at 8 a.m. for breakfast) and dismissal is at 12:30 p.m.

Office Hours

• On school days, the office opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 4 p.m.
• On days that students are not in school but the staff are present the office is open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
• On other days, the office is closed, except by appointment.
